From a real estate perspective, Redondo Beach consists of two distinct sections….North Redondo or the 90278 zip code includes everything north of 190th St. South Redondo Beach or the 90277 zip consists of the neighborhoods south of 190th. (see map below)
North Redondo generally has a greater variety of housing options and prices are generally considerably less than South Redondo due to North Redondo not being right at the beach and South Redondo extending to the beach and ocean.
Some of the neighborhoods or areas of North Redondo include the Golden Hills, the TRW tract, and the Golden Triangle.
Some of the more well known areas of South Redondo Beach include The Village and Seascape with an abundance of oceanview condos, the Hollywood Riviera, the “Avenues” the oceanfront complexes of the Esplanade and the most affordable housing in South Redondo at the great condo complex of Brookside Village.
