April a Great Month for the Torrance Real Estate Market

It was a great month for the real estate market in Torrance CA with 100 homes selling during the month.  That was the highest number of home sales since August 2023 and prior to that July 2022.

It’s been a long time since we’ve seen numbers like this according to Torrance realtor Keith Kyle.  March had been a great month with 89 closed home sales but April handily topped that already impressive number.  It was even more impressive with the 69 closed escrows in February and only 48 to start 2024.

The average “listing” price was just over $1,004,000 with an average sold price of just over $1,032,000.  The average price was down slightly from the March average sold price of $1,132,878.  

$696 was the average dollar per square foot compared with $749 in March.   The average DOM (days on market before going into escrow) was a very brief 24 which was shorter than most other cities in the South Bay.
