Most people don’t even realize that Torrance has a beach, let alone oceanfront homes and property. Along with the oceanfront
address of Paseo De La Playa comes a hefty price tag as well. One alternative is the only oceanfront condo complex (most units are not oceanfront but the complex is) known as Cote D’Azur. This complex is located in the Hollywood Riviera and although that neighborhood has a Redondo Beach mailing address, it’s actually a part of Torrance.
While the exteriors of the buildings look rather dated and industrial, many interiors have been extensively updated with a very new look and feel. Cote D’Azur features 4 separate buildings each with 3 levels and units on both sides of the buildings meaning some have ocean views and other do not. All of the homes are single level condos and are situated around a very nice ocean view pool area. There are very few units directly facing the ocean but many have great views from somewhat of an angle.
Although the grounds aren’t overdeveloped the location is simply incredible.
The condos are 2 bedroom 2 bath with square footage generally a bit below and above 1,400. Prices range considerably depending on both upgrades and especially views. HOA dues are currently (as of 2023) around $700 a month.
