Let’s make it two straight. For the second straight month there were triple digit in the South Bay’s largest city. There were 100 homes that sold which was the same number as April. According to Torrance real estate specialist Keith Kyle, that was the highest number of home sales in Torrance since the summer of 2023.

Torrance home prices top $1,100,000 again as well.
The average listing price was $1,059,757 with the average sold price at an impressive $1,106,942. This was well above the April average price of $1,032,213 but slightly lower than $1,132,878 in March.
The average dollar per square foot for the homes that sold was $740 compared with $696 in April. Homes that sold averaged a very short 27 days on market before going into escrow which was well below the DOM averages in most of the South Bay.
